I have been on/fished Texoma a whole lot. But I have always fished for Striper.
I have never bass fished out there.
We will be leaving out of my parents place at Buncombe Creek.
Where are some good places to try? What types of baits do I need to use?
Also, how has the flood effected the fishing?
Any info at all is greatly appreciated. I really want to learn how to catch bass out of that lake.

I was there on the 9th and 10th and fishing was a lot of fun. We were fishing newly flooded cover. I hope that your boat is already on the water, because all of the ramps that I know of are closed. We fished jigs in 3' of water and caught a bunch of fish. I used a black and blue and Justin used a brn green combo with a wat red trailer. It was fun, but we stayed in one area and did not travel at all. There is a lot of debris floating so be careful if you can get out.
