Fished the Britteny Lindt tournament yesterday in the rain. What does everyone use for face protection when driving in the rain? I saw a few guys with Save Face masks - any other ideas? I was thinking maybe just some type of goggles instead of the entire face mask.

I've done a few searches but couldn't find anything except for the Save Face masks.

Thanks,

I use my old full face motorcycle helmet. Works great.

Motorcycle helmet. Also, perfect for the winter when you have a long run to make in colder weather.

I use goggles from any hardware store for general use, etc. They're usually in the welding section along with wire brushes and stuff like that. They're about $4.00 and also work great in the cold weather to keep the eyes from making tears too much. Not much help for the rest of the face, but if it's raining that hard you shouldn't be going that fast anyway. IMO

Whatever you decide to use, make sure you use RainX or some kind of wax on the lens so the water will bead up and run off.

All of the above mentioned work but fogging up is a problem with most. That should be a consideration before you buy. I have the half mask but the paint ball mask looks good. My problem with helmets and such is a storage problem as they take up a bit of room.
