Looking to replace shocks on boat storage lids.
Old ones have "SPRINGLIFT" 8" closed,and 11" extended
Can not find copany in AK. were they were made.
Thanks for all help

Are they "springs" or the gas shocks. If they are the gas shocks you can get them at Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas. You can also get them at an autoparts store and sometimes be cheaper than at the sporting goods stores. If it is a gas shock, just removed the retaining clip, pull the shock off the ball socket and take it somewhere and get it matched up for length and holding weight.
