I will be staying at a lake house just off of Kikcapoo Creek and in the town of Onalaska off of the US 190 bridge.

Is this a good area to bass fish or does anyone have other tips on catching bass in this lake?

Kickapoo creek cranks out 20lb. stringers. Try flipping a craw worm (black/blue), E2baits CT lizard Junebug, or a perch colored spinnerbait. Fish shallow cover. You can go over to Kickapoo Bait and Tackle and talk with Gene Swann and he will show you what they are biting on. He is located right at the Kickapoo Creek bridge on the northwest side... Hope this helps...
