Nice pitures but it was the B-29 that dropped A-bombs not the B-25.

25's were killer low-level strafing machines (would have been interesting to see one carry the A-bomb.  ) Nice Mustangs above the Thunderbird!

Here's a couple of photos my dad took back in 1950-1951 when he was ferrying P2V(-7) Neptunes back and forth between NAS Patuxent River, MD and Keflavik, Iceland.   The British would ferry P2V's over to Keflavik, pick up the refurb'd ones delivered from Pax River, then dad and the other pilots would ferry the British aircraft back to Pax River for upgrades.

Great pics redfin - - thanks for posting them! But the P-51 being listed in the "other aircraft" category pains me - - it's at the top of my favorites list
