When flippin or pitchin to Brush and tree's, Would you peg it or not.Baits like Brushhogs and creature baits, even worms... How much weight do you like?

peg it, so I wouldnt start cussing too loud about the wieght that keeps hanging over the branch, keeping my worm from sinking smile

+1 Also when punching through grass use a 1 oz or heavier, pegged, so the weight doesnt get hung up on the grass either!!

peg...I use LFT screw lock weights, so they screw into the top of the bait....same as pegging

I peg if I'm going to use plastics in heavy cover. I only want to use enough weight to penetrate the cover no more. Always try to get by with as little weight as possible. Most fish in cover will hit the bait on the fall so the longer the bait falls the more likely I am to get bit.
