Fished there on Saturday. Our boat didnt do very good, but a couple of boats did fairly well, no limits. Watch the wind, it got windy there this weekend.

Most of the people we talked to were using shrimp on bobbers, with some artificial baits mixed in.

That's the thing about life, Nobody gets out alive.

I'm hoping this wind lays for the trip. Looking forward to taking the family out and hitting it hard. Great gift for the wife on Mothers Day, right? banana

Well we are going to hit it hard. We are rigged for everything and I guess there are always the trip saver Gafftops if all else fails. I will post a report on Monday.

I'm going down this Friday early and fish for a couple days myself and my wife. I would stick with the live shrimp under popping cork, and always have a spincast with just a #6 treble and a splitshot ready. Sometimes when the trout come through you will want to freeline a shrimp to get to the bottom (bigger fish). I am worried that the full moon and the influx of fresh water will play a big roll in the fishing, but the good news is the high tide will be a little before noon. I will fish the south end of the bay Espirutu (spelled wrong) Army hole, pringle in and around the shoreline. Cross your fingers for the wind, Wunderground says 18sse Friday and 17sse on Sat. Have a good time and be safe.

That is where we will be. If you see a 22' red and gray predator thats us. Good luck and be safe, also. Let me know here when you get back!

Well....... not so good. The wind only layed for awhile on Sat afternoon. I tried various methods with not alot of luck. Of course two impatient kids didnt help so we ended up with the ole gafftops. Oh well, we have all summer!
