who hates Flouro. I've tried them all & finally thought I was on to something w/ seguar red label but I am now starting to dislike it too.

Is it really worth it to spend $20-30 on a 110yd spool of line that you have to "baby" & spend even more money to condition it just to make it managable & not break on the one full day of fishing it is good for before you have to replace it?

I think I'm gonna go back to old school & use mono for everything (except braid for frogs) I tried the new LFT powersilk & it seems great!

i absolutly love my seaguar invisx, i use it 90% in my bass fishing endevors

I love it. Gamma for me. Worth every penny IMHO

I spooled up with fluoro for the first and last time last weekend. I went with the BPS XPS 14# (which had great reviews) and all weekend, snap, snap and snap. Back to mono for me!!

not being a smart-a@#, but do the folks that use it feel you catch more with it than when all you had was mono?

I thought it was gonna be the cure-all line, but it is just too much work & money for so little use for me!

I think it is just hype. Braid was the ticket 5 years ago, now flouro. Whats next? the prices just keep going up for the next magic line

I hear you.....The only floro I use is 100% for leaders. Waste of money for anything else.

i dunno i use it and somewhat like it but ive broken it too, i dont think i can remember then last time i broke mono. if i broke mine down it would be 70% mono 15% braid and 15% flouro

yep! mono for me too i hate floro.

i love the gamma copoly & i think the new powersilk is gonna be some good stuff

have not tried the gamma copoly been wanting to try it out just havent made it out to get some.

my academy always has it for $5----can't be beat for that price!!

I have been getting requests for InvizX , about 4 a day. Getting it in this week. Seems to be a very popular line. I'm happy with mono

just check your line and retie every so often, if you have been breaking floro it bc it is a lesser brand or your not quite maintaing it correctly, just my .02

fluoro has some very good uses, very abrasion resistant. great for cranking around rocks and other debris where most mono will most likely have some nicks or wear spots. Its all good til you break off a 10 lber. Mostly fluoro for me. Just my .02

I have only been using flouro for a few months, P-line 100% and so far I love it. Haven't broke it off and cast much better than the mono I was using
