My uncle has a boat in Florida he is willing to give me. It's an older stratos and all I have to do is get it to Texas. Does anyone have any contacts with a shipping company or transportation company that could load this boat up and haul it from Florida to Dallas? What would something like this cost. The boat, in its current condition, probably isn't worth more than $1,500 so I'm trying to figure out if it is worth it. Thanks.

Single or tandem trailer? You might have your uncle take the boat to a local dealer and have the wheel bearings checked and replaced if needed, then figure what it would cost in gas to go get it. No way will it be worth you while if you pay a freight company to get it here for you.

I've read where people used

www.uship.com which is just people coming and going and getting almost what their gas money is.

Never used them myself.

Thanks Nathan. I'll look into it.
