Took the semi-famous KaLuB of the TFF with me on a deep night bluegill/bass expedition, and we kinda hit paydirt! Bass more active than gills and sunfish, but we got them anyway, and even got a couple of bullheads thrown in for the obligatory moans and groans!

All fish caught on 1/32 nd oz UNPAINTED jig heads impaled with chatreuse/black and blue/white tubes on UL gear, and 6 lb test line! Couple of the bass were dandies, and KaLuB's Green Sunfish was pushing a pound or more! Biggest bass was pushing 5!

All fish caught between 10:30 PM and Midnight!

Using a 5 ft Quantum rod, Quantum Optix 10 UL reel, It can go a long way, if it's got some Berkley Trilene XL line in it!

Nice fish! I've always had great luck during a full moon, especially with crappie.

hehe, just looked at a pic and i guess i do somewhat resemble woody harrelson. we definitely have the same super stylish hairdo, errrrr receding hairline.

as for throwing the jigs, i use a 7ft ultralight with 6lb line.
