Never used a lizard until this morning and grabbed this nice 4.5lb'er out of a pond in NRH. I caught a couple of 2 and 3 lb'ers too. I'm surprised that this little pond has bass this plentiful AND healthy.

Nice! This time of year if you split shot a lizard and let it fall and then sit the fish will absolutely kill it out of instinct. I don't hear many people doing that anymore but it's an awesome tactic.

Nice fish! Been catching a lot of bass on lizards this season. My first season to use them!

Mind Sharing the ponds location. In need of a good pond in NRH!

Wow...I've gotten 8 PMs about this location and it's whereabouts....so I'll go ahead and spill the beans, heck I don't care. If you know where the Texas Brahmas play hockey in NRH, then you know where this is....about 600 feet west of there. If you don't, it's right off Mid-Cities Blvd about a 1/4 mile west of Birdville High School. You can see the water from Mid-Cities blvd. There's a wooden dock that I fish off of and throw to the weeds you see in the pic there. That's where they hide. You gotta fish it S-L-O-W.....if you go back there in hurry, you're gonna leave in a hurry too.
Here's a pic of one that I caught on a swimbait by basically dragging it on the bottom like I was trying to sneak it back to the bank without anyone noticing, I'd give it a twitch every now and then and BAM....I did the same with the lizard this morning!!! I have driven by this place a million times if I have once and I never thought it had bass this size in it or even at all. I posted this pic a week or so ago.......yep, it's the same place. The second pic is another one I caught out there as well......
