Nice job! Cherish these times! I never got to fish with either of my grandfathers, they both died when I was very young. Did you catch them anywhere close to where you saw me last saturday?

Salsa I'm really glad you posted this story and the pictures. My Grandad was my hero and my inspiration. Finny Tribe is basically a tribute to him. If you haven't seen this, go to http://www.finnytribe.com/about-us.php.

It warms my heart to see somebody really cherish the time they get to spend fishing with their Grandad.

Not trying to hijack your thread Michael, but after reading your post the first thing that came to mind was texoma/ghost minows/ and it was round the early 80's, nothing better than fishing with pawpaw.

Awsome post bud

Marc

Im proud of you for taking Papaw fishing and proving that jigs work better than minnows. Man I would give anything to fish with my grandpaw again.
God bless you and Papaw,

great post, I remember crappie fishing with my grandpa's, but they are long gone, but not forgotten. My son fishes with his papa now, building memories..

Get those experiences and memories while you can. There will come a time one day when you can't do that any more.
