I have a transom mount minn kota Endura 46lbs trolling motor. Is it possible to convert it to a bow mount? Right now the transom mount bracket is busted, and instead of getting a new one I was wondering if I could buy a minn kota bow mount bracket and get it to fit on it. Anyone ever done this?

Thanks

yes as long as you have enough shaft to make it practical

Alright, well my shaft length is 36". I guess I should try looking for a bracket that will fit this. Anyone know where to look to find one?

the bracket will work but you better have a shallow draft boat

I have found these:

I just don't know if they will fit the 36" shaft. I like the first one, but doesn't say the original trolling motor shaft length that it used.

Thanks for the help. I'm going to try and get the first one or the one you posted up. I like the newer riptide mount, that way I could get a quick release bracket for it.
