John Morris of Bass Pro and Bill Dance fished with us on the Trinity for alligator gar. I just found out the show will air for the first time May 18th at 10am on the VERSUS Ch. I believe you will see the largest gar ever taken with R&R on video! Not sure what they cut, but they caught FOUR over 200lb and 6 more over 100lb! Should be a good show.

Actually, the River monsters crew was origionally booked with us, but after some thought and warning of a possible connection between Animal Planet and a well known animal activist group, we opted to cancel them. It seemed to go well for the guys that took them tho, so I might have been paranoid...

It is going to be hard to make a 30min show out of it. Bill said they may make three shows. I got a letter from him that said," In the 40 plus years I have had a tv show, this is one of , if not THE BEST pieces of footage we have ever filmed!" I took that as a compliment coming from BILL DANCE!

Well, I recieved a copy of the show Friday and finally got to watch it last night. They did put in 2 of the MONSTERS! Guess they saved the rest for another show. Still, 2 over 8ft on one show... guess that has never been done before!
