Not my argument.... I like reading his reports and seeing the pictures of a place that I have never fished. As far as advice goes, to be fair. He has answered my pm's about the area without giving away the secrets that he has learned. I don't expect him to give me all of the answers since he makes his living fishing that river.

Scott- That might be a good idea, it's interesting to me why anybody would have so much beef with Yak, he seems like a normal hippy type guy who loves the river.

Well Well Well... The two rookies made it down the 20 miles from the dam back to Rochelle's without any trouble. Drizzled the first 30 minutes while we put in (along side at least 80 boyscouts). After that is was smooth sailing. Sometimes really sailing as we had a strong wind at our backs on certain stretches. Fishing was good. Caught one LMB around 4lbs and tons of smaller ones, a few smallmouths, and even a couple stripers. Nothing huge, but consistently catching fish is good enough for me. Pictures to come.
We appreciate the well wishing and concern for our safety due to the weather. But as far as I am concerned, a bad day fishing beats a good day sitting on the couch every time. If you wait for the perfect conditions before you go out, you might as well sell your boat.
Stick, Mojo, and the rest of the crew... I am sure you guys wont catch too much slack for the "Siss Out of '09" Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun. Glad the weather held out and made the trip enjoyable. Can't wait until work slows down some so I can make that long drive and give it a try.
