Falcon lake guides Charlie Haralson, Jim Edwards and Speedy Collet have each generously donated one day guide trips on Falcon to help sponsor a www.castforkids.org event we are holding in June. Speedy has also included a free night at his Beacon lodge with each trip. We will treat 40 children from the San Antonio Down Syndrome association to a day of fishing at Calaveras lake. I'm not sure what the proper way is to do this is? Send me a p.m. with your bids for each trip i guess? I guess someone conceivably could buy all 3 and do them back to back to back? Thanks to all from the Cast for Kids Foundation Jim Behnken

ok, Jay in Grapevine brought up some points i failed to address. Thanks Jay. 1.)Let's have the auction end Sunday the 17th.2.)once you purchase the trips, you need to negotiate with the guide on dates.

Maybe you can get a mod to pin this up top with a fancy title to help these kids out. Hopefully ya'll get in a great day of fishing.

Is this going to be like a sealed bid auction? If its for a charity, youd probably do better with an open auction.

Not sure if the moderators would be ok with an open bid system on this site? I also did not want there to be a nyway a guide could be offended by someones comments or anything. This site generally does not have issues with that though.Let's be safe and keep it closed. I will update the bids a few times during the next week here on the post.

Sorry for the delay, internet is down. Im at a wireless locale now. We have 3 separate auction winners. Tejasbasshunter won Jim Edwards for $350.00,Twin Turbo got Speedy for 500.00 and Fouzman won Charlie for $480.00. Remember, lodging included by speedy At Beacon Lodge. I sent the 3 winners a pm with my phone number. Please call me for specifics. Thanks to everyone who participated. We are going to be able to accomodate a lot more Down Syndrome children than i ever imagined!!
