I'm about to go stark raving mad over this thing!!! Trim motor just flat quit! I took it out to see what I could find. One of the magnets was loose on the inside. Replaced the wires, cleaned it up really good, and can't get fire to it. I hear the relays clicking, so assume the fire is getting through...

Force '94 90 horse

HELP!!!

PLEASE!

Does it have a solenoid? Check that too? From what I hear the relays will click if they are bad too.

If the magnet was loose on the inside, that motor is shot. If you try to reglue the magnet and the magnet touches the case, poof it looses 1/2+ of it's power. The magnet has to have a coating of glue to keep it away from the houseing. (same goes for trolling motors and starters) Even thou you hear the click, that does not tell you that the solenoids are working properly. You need to directly wire the tnt motor and make sure that it will work. If it don't...replacement motor is needed....if it does,,,,the problem will lie with the solenoids........

If you do need to replace it, go to google and type in the model number like this "95-1323" or whatever your model number is, surrounding it with the quotation marks...This will get google to search for that particular item...

I found one in GA for my 1992 Force 120 for over $100 less (with shipping) than what I could find here in the D/FW area...

Good luck...
