I had a situation at Choke Canyon and the end result was $2000 in body damage and water in my fuel tank.

My carbarator was flushed and a water seperator was installed but when I ran it last weekend it was sluggish and I was down about 15 MPH.

I added HEAT with ISO and drove around town. I emptyed the filter and it was full of water. I did this about 10 times in my drive way just using the prime pump to draw fuel while the screws were lose to allow flow.

I pulled out 1/2 gallons from the filter and about 1/2 cupwas water with sand and out debre lining the bottom of my container.

If I keep doing this process will I get it all out? Am I doing everything I can do? Is a new tank better since I have sand in the tank too?

jack the nose of the boat all the way up, pull the fuel sender get a copper tube that will attach to a fuel line and a cheap electric fuel pump from auto zone(you can use a primerbulb just takes longer). All the water and dirt will go to the bottom corner and use the ridged copper tube to go strait to the bottom of the tank and get it all.
