Over the last few days the metro-mess has gotten a good dousing but the Grasslands als did not. Over two and a half days we got just over two inches not enough to raise the water levels, in fact I planted an Azalea today and just about three inches down dirt was dry.

I fished Clear Lake in the rain on Saturday. Is it an exaggeration to say that the fish were jumping out of the water screaming "Pick ME!!! Pick ME!!!!"? Maybe. But I did have a most excellent day up there. Love that place. Does need more water though.
