Every air boat operator I have encountered out there has been have been courteous and responsible. How many boats were out there?

The noise is ridiculous and it's a huge burden but it's life below Whitney. Seems like there are more fish than airboats so I could care less.

Eh. They don't bother me. Last time I was below Whitney, two were putting around up and down the river. it's a big river-let them have their fun.

Last Summer I was down below PK and the GWs came down in an airboat. It was plenty loud, I could hear them a a long ways before they got anywhere near. They stopped to check my buddy a couple of hundred yards upstream from me and when they turned their engine off it sounded like a rifle shot. When they checked me they didn't bother to turn the engine off. Blew sand and stuff all over the place. When they stopped downstream again it sounded like a rifle shot. The really stupid thing about this was that 2 guys in a PB went right by them with about 15 big black bass (well over the limit of 5 each). I don't like the smell of PBs, would not hurt my feelings to see all PBs prohibited from the Brazos.

I have seen em below PK also, bowfishing. Very loud and enough lights going to light up a football field! You can hear every word they say from a half mile away because they have to scream to hear each other over the motor! We were fishing a deep hole out of a canoe and they respected our spot and moved to the far edge and went right on by.

I saw them numerous times last year about this time last year below P.K. Funny thing is though I would watchthem and they kept showing me all the good bass holes without even knowing it. They seem all right to me, looks like a good way to get around the river really.
It's more than the catfish would do.

an electric airboat a'd still be a problem, as even the prop is noisy...
Personally - I'd like 'em better if they stopped and served up some delicious, hot, crispy spicy and salty fried chicken, as it is close to noon, and I am quite hungry.
Plus, I say, whoever wouldn't like a friendly snack from a generous and rowdy "CHICKEN TIME !!" airboat crew, them's is just one of the haters, ( or a Republican ) and I'd be surprised to find anything to please' em. Except perhaps lonliness.

Unless you are wearing a grass skirt and sleeping in a ditch and eating only road kill, you too are part of 'the problem'.
