how much does a 12.25in. crappie weigh?

is that considered a good fish? how much would it weigh?
my girlfriend caught one yesterday while we were bass fishing and that was the length. didnt want to weigh it so we could get it back in the water.

Yup, pound sounds about right unless it was a female full of eggs then maybe your pushing 1.8 or so.

nah i dont she she was a female, just a regular size fish.

That is a great fish. They are all good. Size does not matter (just dont ask the girls, what do they know anyhow). Size does not matter.  I just wish you had taken a picture before you released it so we could all enjoy it (along with you). That is a great - great fish, right there (especially since you released it) Way to go on the great catch (and the release)  (next time take a picture before you release so that we can all enjoy it even more).

How about a 16" that hit a big willow bass spinnerbait.What would that weigh? Thanks BP About 2.6 to 3lbs. That is a really good one 16 inches plus. I love those (caught some the other day on Navarro Mills - to 2.10oz right at 16 inch plus),
