hey folks,
what's up on the fishing at RC? haven't made it down to go fishing. Wondering if the wind and rain has keep the fish from biting or if you can even get out on the lake. Hope to fish this weekend. Any updates would be much appreciated! Thanks

I finally went out yesterday (I don't even know how many trips I've canceled the past week because of the winds and the rain).

It's good out there on RC if you can make it out (kind of always is).

Yesterday (4/29/09) White Bass limits with Hybrids and Crappie too)

And the previous outing was 4/22/09 White Bass limits and Crappie too:

Thanks so much for the information about the fishing, Mr Parker. Loved the pictures! Glad to hear the fishing is so good!

Did you catch the crappie while fishing for whites? I was wondering if all the rain and wind had slowed the bite down.
Thanks again!

309 flats in the morning should get your limit!

May is here now, and I think the easiest month of the year for everyone to catch fish (Catch a bunch - have fun - keep what you need and release the rest).

No the Crappie are not with the White Bass. You have to specially target them as you do all fish.

Thanks Mr.Parker. I do try to fish for whites and get a hybreds or fish for a hybred and get a whites. And every once in a while,I will catch a crappie or a cat fish. But I am not a professional as you are, so that's probably why I get mix. I have a buddy that has been catching crappie off their pier, are they still in the shallow waters?

Thanks so much for to you Mr.Boxfish. It's nice to get updates on my favortie lake!

Are the Crappie still shallow? I don't think so very much - but still a few in there.

Fishing again tomorrow - hope to work on the Crappie also - so we will see then - see the pictures on my web site - if we go Crappie fishing too - then we'll know,
