I've been looking at making some crappie tubes via the dipping method. I'm curious as to the best way to cut the tail into a skirt pattern.
Also, are there molds for 2 inch curly tailed grubs used for crappie jigs? I haven't been able to find any after looking at some of the recommended links in this section.
There seems to be a wealth of knowledge here and I'm hoping someone will chime in with some suggestions.
Thanks,

To cut the tails on small tubes it would be best to use an exacto knife, not fast but it will work.
Lure Craft has some small grub molds

Lurecraft also has the tube tail cutter you seek. Talk to kim.
