Have never fished Texas that far south.
I have friend coming in for a weekend in the middle of July.
we were looking for a guide(s)for two days. We are familiar with trout/red in the bays PINS northward, but we are really after Tarpon and Snook this time.
We want one day definitely spent inshore, possibly spent wading, and the other either for Tarpon or possibly bill fish/deep sea.
no "offshore", reeling in big Grouper and other things from the bottom do not appeal to me.

Does anyone have any recommendations for inshore/bay guides and those for either Tarpon or Bill fish.

We are all catch and release. Just fotos for us.

I would recommcnd Capt Vere Wells for snook & inshore. 956-551-3483.
Not sure about offshore, but he could make a recommendation.

Lot's of good guides down there to choose from...
