I have been out using my Amistad, my Composite cranker, and Mike Mclelland jig rods. They are all wonderful rods, very sensitive, and it seems you can throw a yum money minow a country mile with the amistad. That split grip will let you get some serious torque on the rod when casting. And the composite cranker will throw a strike king lipless 1/2 oz crank bait as far as I have ever seen. All good rods and money well spent. Just wish I could have bought them on sale at a rod riot somewhere.

You can't catch a fish on a dry hook.

They are awesome rods. I have been using Falcons for years and have NEVER broken one on a hookset. Any problems that I have had they have taken care of. I guess its different for others.

Yes I got my first falcon about close to 15 years ago and I still have it and still use it. It is still a great rod so I did not mind shelling out the money for the new rods. I am a falcon man. I also use shimano and others as well. Cant have enough rods he he he.

I have. On Fork. That was the biggest, baddest stump in that lake for sure. I bet the hook is still in it after 10 yrs.

Most of the time that is the problem...thats why rods have line size limits

I was in Academy yesterday looking at some new Cara's. I have several but you just never have too many. Anyway, looks like they marked all the Cara's up to where they will not be on the next Rod Riot,,,unless they change the prices on the sale. I tore them up last summer when they included the high end T7's. Think I walked out with 5 that day.
