took grandchildren pond fishing yesterday. 11 yr old grandson insisted on using granddaughters 2 foot long sponge bob sqaure pants reel. well he catches a four lb bass. talk about a fight. the smile on his face was priceless. 2 yr old grandson had a minnow under a bobber, all he did was cast and reel while the rest of us ducked, wouldn't you know it he catches about a one lb bass all by himself and landed it. i caught an eight lb. bass on a minnow, biggest bass i ever caught, and i felt bad about stealing my grandsons thunder. we all had a great time until dog got a hook in mouth and son had to head to the vet about 7:30 pm. i would post picture of grandson and fish if i knew how.

sounds like yall had fun, sorry to hear about the dog situation. Hope that didnt cost an arm and a leg.
