In the last week I have killed a large water mocassin under my dock that was in a death struggle with about a 2lb. channel cat and yesterday about 5 docks away I saw another mocassin that had caught and was trying to eat about a 10" crappie?

There seems to be a veritable plethora of snakes now on EM and I am wondering if they are showing up everywhere.

THE ONLY GOOD SNAKE IS A DEAD SNAKE mad

I have ALWAYS seen a ton of snakes on Eagle Mountain... They must be roaming around fertilizing each other... hehe.

I seen a 9-10ft. gator on Fork last year. Scary!! Wonder if it has been caught/trapped/killed yet. We spotted it in the back of Williams creek.

They leave the gators alone @ Fork. There are several there.

Saw a 2 foot or so mocassin last year on Marys Creek trying to down about a pound and a half bass... Was cool to watch. Fought it over half an hour before they dissappeared under the falls.

Snakes are spawning this time of year too! I got a mess of 'em at my place right now. It happens every year around this time.

Hey Husker, couple years ago I got a picture of about 10-12 snakes on a dock across your little cove there one day. Pretty nasty site as I hate snakes but there does seem to be an abundance of snakes out there. Hope you have a great weekend with the grandkids!

Blue Devil,

If you want to get confrontational just bring it on!!. I don't need a reason to kill a snake and if I did I would say 6 grandkids in that same area is a pretty good reason.

Why don't you just stick to drinking beer and telling everyone how &%$%^ tough you are!

I agree with Texas Husker, if snake gets anywhere near me it is a dead snake. I know there importance, but I just want them to be important somewhere else.

If I wanted to get confrontational, I don't have a problem "bringing it on". I already said that. Does it make you feel tough to call me out on the web and tell me what I should stick to? rolleyes

My friend does not like you :p
