Gonna try some surf, pier, and wade fishing down around Galveston. Heading out tonight, coming back tomorrow night. Wish me luck! And this time, I don't have anybody with me that'll shoot the trip down

Water temps you'll get better looking at NOAA here... http://www.srh.noaa.gov/hgx/marine.htmAll I'll be able to tell you is whether its warm or not. As far as condition.... I can tell you that right now. Chocolate milk with extra suds. Hope their noses are in working order! *grins* In all seriousness though, I'll definately be reporting in.

As promised.... report.
I suck.
Got out there around 9am to Seawolf Park, left a little after 6pm. Caught? One lone catfish type thing. Used live shrimp and then fresh dead shrimp.
Water wasn't brown, but was cloudy green.
Saw a few dolphins, a few folks catch anything from piggy perch to two sharks, a big catfish, and there was a 25 lb Jack caught just off the pier on live shrimp.
Tempted to go out to the lake today just to prove to myself that I really don't suck THAT bad.

Don't be too hard yourself girl. All of us had to go through the learning curve before we started catching fish on regular basis. You'll get there. Persistence will pay off.
