Fishing is good, but after about 9AM you'll probably be hugging the South Shoreline. Winds in excess of 20MPH are forecast for the next three days. Fish are on the Flats early and then Slab fish on the North Shoreline main lake points. If you have a 36 Volt Trolling Motor & Gel Batteries, you can make a day of it. Ran two trips yesterday and limited on both. (50 Fish and 75 Fish) All Whites as the Hybrids took a break yesterday. Left the boat on the trailer today as it was just too WINDY!!! Be VERY CAREFUL as RC is dangerous when it gets to 20 MPH! Good Luck! Royce www.gonefishin.biz

It's Good - Crappie, Hybrids and White Bass and I'm sure the blue cats are on a real tear too. Last week was one of those Oh My God Weeks bunches of huge Hybrids and 2lb plus Crappie (on Richland Chambers and Navarro Mills). See what being caught everyday at www.texasguidefishing.com I canceled today and tomorrow with the winds as they are (but for the Spring shallow water Blue Cat Fisherman - this is what you are looking for). If you go out ware your life jackets, always use your kill switch and for your best defense - use your head.

Thanks everyone. This helps. I plan on staying on the south shore close to the boat ramp. I will get off the lake before the wind gets too bad. I am hoping to get a few hours in on sat morning before it gets too bad out there.
