 85 150hp Black Max starting trouble?

When I bought the boat a couple months ago the boat ran perfect up till today. I fished a tourney last sunday and it ran great as usual. Started right up and ran perfect without missing a beat. Well today I went after work and it was another story. I put the boat in the water fired her up and went and parked the truck. Came back down and it was dead. I thought no big deal just warming up. Well it took a act of congress to finally start back up. I let it idle for about 100yds or so and it died again and it would not start anymore. What do yall think is going on? It felt like I wasnt getting any gas to it but from sunday till today it was perfect.

Thats what you are going to have to determine: if its not getting fuel, if its not firing or if you have water in fuel. Hope its something minor! GOOD LUCK

More than likly a bad stator will sometime go out with no warning....OPTI
