went out yesterday despite the wind and i was one of three boats that was on fish. the only bad thing was that you had to have one he LL of trolling motor and some good batteries i held the spot for a little over an hour and was doing nothing but catching the other guys were there when i got there and they did not have any trolling motor left. the other 2 guys were using there big motors to pull back up into the fish they would catch a couple then crank big motor and move up again before they got into the rocks.

if you dont mind haveing a little water coming over the front of the boat then yoesterday was the time to fish. the shad were stacked in good and we did really well.

Not young but still dumb, yes I was out there. Had a good time.

I have to jump on this one. Heck if the fishing hadn't been so good I would have called it a day. Birds fish hitting bait on the surface. BUT! I actually saw the fish hitting bait "in" a wave yesterday. No way I would be out there today.

I caught one, and Zach (Zeek the Greek) caught one keeper hybrid each. Both boats caught several undersized hybrids yesterday. Wind was brutal, but it did make for decent catching....

Jsw, I may be going out tomorrow afternoon so long as we don't have lightning storms around us - same area along that shoreline since the winds coming from the south still. You planning on hitting the lake?
