I'm headed to Galveston to see a buddy and we are going to go fishing at least one day (the girls are going to be with us) and I have no idea where to go in this area of the Texas coast. I'd like to fish wadable flats since I will be taking fly rods, but if the conditions aren't favorable, I'm also taking light spinning gear. Any information is greatly appreciated!

WOW, THAT IS A TOUGH QUESTION RIGHT NOW. FOR THE MOST PART THERE IS VERY LITTLE FISHABLE WATER ANY WHERE, WITH THESE 20 TO 40MPH WINDS. MABY THE SOUTH SHORELINE OF WEST BAY. BUT, IF YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHERE YOU ARE GOING USE GREAT CAUTION. WEST BAY HAS LOTS OF REEFS AND VERY SHALLOW SAND FLATS.

GOOD LUCK FB
