Light house cove is near Sabine Pass about halfway between Sabine lake and the gulf.

yeah here in a couple of weeks they oughta be at the jetties, have any of yall been catchin any reds, i went out a week before this trip lookin for some reds, cought a couple ratreds but thats it

Ohhh man that makes me hungry. They have a recipe for pan grilled spec trout with lump crabmeat, mushrooms and caper sauce in April's Texas Fish & Game coastal edition. Looking at it right now. They have it with crabcakes, asparagus and mango pico de gallo.
I am so hungry I could eat a bowl of lard with a hair in it right now.
