Finally had fun at RC. Well Kinda. Went out about 6:30/7:00 on Sunday. Went up stream from the gun range bridge to a place where I can drive right up to the creek. (not on the guys private land) Mainly didnt want to deal with the FW bridge crowd.

I get ready and realize I dont have my tackle box with me. Great!!! Wife was talking to me before I left and got me side tracked in some thing else. Dammit

I'll give it a try with 1 white roadrunner. Walked up to the small hole before the pipe and there was a guy throwing a net. Once he saw me he pulled it out and put it away. He then had his kid tell me in english that he was trying to catch minnows. Looser. I stood 10ft up from them and had a great 10-15 min of non stop catching. Most were non keepers but it was like every cast. It was great. Finally one, the one took me for a ride and snapped my line. The fun was over. Anyway Had a great 15min of catching the hell out of them when the guy next to me(who cheats) doesnt.

Which would you rather me call it? either way it still works for me.

There are no Hybrids in Rowlett Creek.

Hey Micheal, thanks for the pics in the pm. Last night, went out for only 20 minutes, caught 1 quality perch, 4 magnum pest. Would have fished longer, but I had the runs from previous crawfish boil. Go out there AND SLAY THEM!

You guys have any problems with parking at Firewheel bridge?
Heard rumor that cops had been seem out there writing ticket during day and evening time.
I might have getting BAD information from people so they can keep me out of that area. Every time I go, I end up going to the bike parking lot of Centerville and Castle.

I drive an Impala..so I park at the bike trails unless I ride out with someone in a truck....its a long arse haul but good exercise

Yesterday it was pretty murkey/stained..tommorow it should be clear!

We went out yesterday at around 4, stayed till dusk. Total caught was probably around 30, we had i think 18 keepers with 3 magnums. Good day, only caught 3 total on minnas. But my buddy had my SECRET BAIT on and was catching them every 5-6 casts. ill be down there around 4 today again. If it was anything like yesterday , i should get my limit.
