i have a '98 silverado.my door locks work great with the remote but don't work with either switch.i've checked fuses,relays,and wires.what should i look for next?

have you checked to see if the master door lock switch(drivers door) is plugged in?

I had the same problem with a 96 GMC. It was the switches in the door. I replaced them and the problem was solved.
