There was a map of Lewisville on this forum in the past that had places marked like, deadmans, twin poles, whitehouse, sandpits etc, already marked on the map. They used the Lone Star Lakes program to place the landmarks. I had it saved as a favorite but when I go there I just get the website. Anybody care to post the map with the landmarks if you have it. I don't need GPS coordinates.
Thanks in advance

Here is one map but it isn't the one you are looking for.

http://webpages.charter.net/rrdowns/LV-Center-crp.jpg

Lone Star Lakes has taken down the map that had all of those sites marked.

I know most places on LL so if are looking for something specific then send me a PM.

Too bad..that was a nice map for reference, especially for new to the lake folks. I used it several times to get started. With LL though you have visual clues about as good as anything, boat shows and birds smile

I had a link saved of the map I think your talking about but it's no longer there. Like CptCarter said it's been removed. bang
Here's another that probably won't help.

noideaWell that didn't work, you'll have to zoom in on LL from the map then select which view you prefer.

I asked JP a while ago about the feasibility of putting similar functionality that LoneStar Lakes had. That website itself is practically useless (and obsolete) but that map feature was cool. It would be great if people could put the popular name of spots on the lakes as map points. There are so many non-official names of particular spots that are not marked as such on printed maps. I'm not talking about people giving up honey holes, just the widely known spots. I see requests for this type of info all the time on TFF. I think it would be useful, whadda y'all think?

Tower Bay is incorrect.

Consider adding:
Pockerus hump
Lake Park Point

Which bay west of I35 is Tower Bay?
Not sure exactly where Pockerus hump is myself.
Will add Lake Park and Whitehouse.

The current map at LoneStarLakes just needs to be marked up with all the spots. There is a button at the top of the map called "add marker". Just click on it and mark away.

Site is old because no one uses it. I had to replace the other map because it did not have gps coordinates and people were complaining.

Wow, people want the whole map with all GPS coordinates filled in for all spots...lol. And I want a brand new Skeeter Bay boat but I know I have to work for it. Too bad, I wouldnt have listened to those complaints.

Pockrus humps are more or less straight out from the Lake Park main boat ramp. Not too tough to find.

Tower Bay is the one east of I-35, just south of the bridge ... it has the private boathouses & the mobile home/trailer park there.

Updated map above. Let me know if Pockrus is approximately correct and if anything else needs fixin. Party cove is not necessary for fishing, buts its a must know spot... woot
