fishfan, lately i been fishing and not study at all because of the run. even though final exam coming up, i will keep your advice in mind everytime i open my book, in memory of fishfan. Oh! Maybe study first and fish second...BTW, thanks for your advice about fishing.
Wind from the north, fisherman does not go forth.
Wind from the south, blows the bait in the fish's mouth.
Wind from the east, the fish bite least.
Wind from the west, the fish bite best..

knot at work. once you fish with one of those pole i dont think you will ever go back to the quantum. mine is a st croix and i thought it was super expensive for a creek but st croix is just average to many other. those old man that i fish at denison dam.they say big fish only bite on nice fishing rod. I love my Quantum Vapors....only 3 ball bearings but smooth enough...after a good spray down of Reel magic they work like they are new everytime...I'll eventually upgrade....by next year I'm thinkin' I'll be fishin with a Plfueger...I like those

iluvfishing, what set up do you have? man i thought your surf rod was a nice set up and expensive. but dindt know your creek pole would cost that much. i would find a way to dry the whole creek to get that pole back. haha For crappie/creek fishing - gloomis glx and shimano stella 1000 Yea I'm about to retire my denison dam setup. The team daiwa surf rod is good and all but it gets kinda heavy when you are casting it out there. Especially when you are fighting monster stripers in the current. Lol I'm looking into a custom setup right now.

the hybrid fishing is going to be crazey down ther next week. so are the sandies. by monday you should be able to catch a few and tuesday you should be able to limit on both. i noticed that the channel cats are moving through too. caught 5 yesterday at the creek. up to 4 lbs. with this amount of rain, you wont have to stand on people to fish. they will be all over the place, up stream and down.

Went by the creek (gunrange) water already 2-3 feet up. East wind blowing 40 mph easy. Water level will get higher.
