Went to Cedar Creek for the first time this morning. Fished from about 8 till 11:30. Put in at Sunny Glen and went north and across the lake to the first big cove. Fish were cashing shad in the back in about 5 to 6 ft of water. Caught 50 to 60 whites and small hybrids on traps, shallow crankbaits and topwaters. About half were small whites but there a few magnums and a bunch of small bybrids. All in all a great first tripto the lake. Left just before the rain started. Want to say thanks to Fastguy for helping me out. Much appreciated. Think I might go back Sunday. By the way, anyone know why that boathouse has the red flashing lights on it?

Yea I headed in when I heard the first clap of thunder. I looked for some crappie too but didn't have any luck with them.

Could it be so you won't run in to it or so that you can find it at night?

Just a thought, (Wow, wait a minute, you didn't run into it did you?).

One good question deserves another - Are you blonde?

Lol, no I didn't run into it. I wasn't ever that close to it but it's got two flashing red lights. At first I thought maybe it was a policecar or ambulance or something.
