I am heading down to fish this weekend and never tried Catfish here. Could someone please give me some tips and ideas? Maybe rigs, baits, locations, etc... any help would be awesome and greatly appreciated. I am so lost as I have only fished for catfish maybe 5 times. I can pass info on Bass but catfish...???
THANKS A BUNCH!!!

Fish deep (30-50) on the edge of the river channel. Braided Line. Most baits work. Move if no bites in 15 minutes. Good luck
I'm a humble fisherman in the service of our Lord. Started fishin at 5 years old and can't stop. I've owned a boat every day from age 16. I fish for every type of fish in every different way.

They are hitting them shallow early, under slip cork, then move out into deeper water after lunch. I talked to Cliff, guide who is guiding trips out there the last two days, earlier today and he has limited the last two days before noon fishing shallow 2 to 7' under slip cork, cut shad and big marvs punch bait, they have big marvs at the hunting/feed store in three rivers (right before you get out of town on the right) or they have it at the Caliham store before you enter Caliham state park.
That is the latest news from a guide who limited out on bluecats today before noon.

Same old boat. But it still catches fish!
