Funny, the first thing I thought of before I even opened the thread was their pies. Go across the street to the Valero and get a pretty good deal on Dublin Dr.Pepper too when they are on sale!

Years ago it was named the "Kofee Kup Kafe". They were persuaded to change the name to what it is today in the 70's.
At least my boat and truck are paid for, woo hoo!

Ditto on the pies. Been hunting between there and Cranfills Gap for 40 years. Decent breakfast spot where the waitresses still call you "honey" and "sugar". Motorcyclers from metroplex have found it but it is usually not too busy in the AM.

great small town restaurant. the food is good, prices are somewhat OK, and the country folk are always nice.

+1 Koffee Kup. Walk down the street to the Billy the Kid museum too. Yeah it's touristy but not that expensive and your kids will love it.

I know this is an old post, but had to reply! I grew up in Hico and worked at the Koffee Kup during my college days. I sure do miss those pies!
