jig and bobber from 2 to six foot has not been working. Bass fishing has been great this way but not crappie. Is this still to shallow for the vine. I have been fishing daily at murrell around rocky bottoms. Please give me any advive. I have a boat if the are being caught a little deeper. I boat and bank fisf all over the lake. I just love jig and boober fishing shallows. Its just not producing and I'm in a need for a good fried crappie sandwich.

Thanks for the advice prows!

IV BEEN FISHING MC PHERSON SLOUGH FOR SOME TIME BEFORE IT GOT WARM ENOUGH FOR THE SPAWN. THE MALES SEAM TO BE NESTING UP AND FINDING LOCATION. I HOOKED INTO SOME REALLY BIG CRAPPIE WEIGHTING IN AROUND 2,6LBS. NOW THAT IT HAD GOTTEN REAL WARM IT HAS BEEN HARD TO EVEN TRY TO FIND A PLACE TO FISH OR PARK. LOTS OF FISHING PRESSURE. I HAD BEEN DOING REALLY GOOD IN THE MORNING TILL 11AM. GOOD AT SUNSET TO DARK TILL 930PM. I USE PAN FISH ASSAIGNS. MAINLY WHITE, OR BLACK N CHARTRUSE WITH CRAPPIE NIBBLES.RED HEADS

I HAD BEEN WANTING TO TRY FISHING TWIN POINTS OR BACK IN THAT ONE MARINA BY THE GAY LORD(NOT SCOTTS LANDING). I HAVE A SMALL FISHING KAYAK I TAKE OUT.IF YOU FIND ANY GOOD PLACES LET ME KNOW. IV BEEN GOING TO BEENBROOK,ROCKY CREEK MARINA. COULDNT FIND THEM AT RAY ROBERTS.

rule of thumb: bait you a place with cottonsead meal in a towsack.. tie it to 3 cinder blocks with a good strong wire.. I buy at least 25 to 40 foot of wire used for clothes line.. its small you can't see it unless you place it out.. tie it where the towsack wont float off or to the side.. and hang the wire over a log or hanging tree limb, this will give you cover.. go out two days later and start hauling in fish.. any one ask. where you caught them..say in the water.. bait used say towsackin real fast.. take your jig used off and put on a bass plug.. and smile saying have a good day..
