about a dozen unreliable sources and 1 reliable source that the bite is really paying off after dark under light. I'm headed out tonight to see if this is true.
I passed one man, while scouting, on his way to his truck and said he caught his limit in 1 hour last night. He and the rest of those dozen people I passed and talked to had similar stories. Then, I saw a guy I recognized and he confirmed the night bite stories.
We'll see...

Stucky and I caught about 25 fish under lights about 2 weeks ago. They were VERY aggressive!!

Haven't fished any the past 2 weeks due to circumstances. Glad to hear they're biting and hope to fish this weekend and next. Hate working "days" when the weather is awesome.

the old fish stories i heard was: moon bright, the crappie will bite. 3 to 5 your minnow stays alive..

Well, I gave it a shot and here's what happened. I got out there right at dark and began fishining. I caught 40 plus crappie jigging around my green light that I tie to a string and pitch out about 10 feet. Went home at 3:00AM with only 4 keepers. So, yes they were biting at night BUT, all little ones. Now some of those may have been right on the 10" mark but I don't keep any Crappie on any lake under 11". I think any Crappie under 11" is to short to keep and clean.

BTW, I also got skunked yesterday on RR in the south creeks while tubing from shallow to about 12ft. deep. I must have been holding my mouth wrong or something. Saw alot of green moss in one of the creeks. Don't think that's good.
