The morning started out bad for Jack and the recovery of his boat. When he and NoMinners arrived to the scene, the boat had disappeared. The only thing I could suggest to him is to search the rest of the lake, maybe it floated off from where it was. He called me just a little bit ago and said that he found the boat by the Dam and most of the water was out of it. I assume the auto bilge pumped it out and it floated off. He is going to call me back when he get's it loaded up.
Thanks to everyone for their kind gestures and help with getting Jack's boat recovered!

Awesome news....wow..that's alot better than what most of us anticipated!!! I just posted on the original thread hoping the efforts of recovering his boat is successful..
That's amazing if the bilge pump actually did that when the battery and everything were assumingly under the water. Some good wiring ...
Congrat Jack... Let get her clean up and back out on the water ASAP...I am sure the crappie are dying to see you!

Just talked to Jack and he has the boat loaded and on the way to my buddy's shop. I hope the repairs are minimal.

Great news.......Kevin we should create an emergency contact list for specific lakes for folks that break down or get swamped and need some help. Alot of us are at the lake the alot of the time and would be willing to help out if a fellow TFFer were in a tight spot and needed some help.
What do you think?

Thanks guys. Yeah we were sweating it there for about two hours. It had blown all the way across the lake up on the dam. It could have been alot worse, I was glad to be able too help him. He is a great guy. I will be posting a pic soon.
