did not have my camra all i had was the cell, one ugly dude. I would say he or she was 4' to 5' long.

with 5 rattlers on him.

he was just on side of the dirt rd close to tangle ridge golf course.

he's pretty flat. must've been a little cool for him to be moving like that. not a big fan either and I'm originally from HERE

Yea on his assend side looked liked someone tryed to skid over it, I was only about 5 ft from him, but his chatter box still worked fine.

Did not have my pistol with me at the time or he would have been a gmf.

joe pool has a good supply of buzztails...they also have a small population of coral snakes..a buddy of mine was road hunting snakes and found a female that was 29 inches yes 29inches HUGE he caught it got bit and drove to the hospital in d'ville..the doctor said wrong snake.. there not up this far north so they went and got it out of his truck a week later she laid 5 eggs and after 4 hatched mom and 4 babies went to live at dallas zoo...gotta be careful

Yup there are alot more thatn you think out there. I use to hunt road hunt them things when Joe Pool was underconstrution. On a bad night I usually caught 4- 6 the biggest I ever got my hands on was 6'8" weighted a littler over 24 lb.s most where 4'-5'. Made hatbands and belts from the hids and sold the meat. Hard to leave that $75.00 hat band or $100.00 belt laying in the road
