In Brady Mack's which is a barbecue place has excellent burgers and fries. When I took my daughter there she was so engrossed in the fries she bit her finger. I told her I would never tell anyone she did that.
There is a small drive-in at Clovis Road and University in Lubbock called Tastee Burger that is very good. Worked near it for a long time and would try to limit myself to one a week just for my heart's sake.
I was working in Llano last week and kinda wondered what the Blue Duck was, will be passing through tomorrow and think I'll try one. There is another diner like place there I forget the name of but it is on 71 just south of 29 on the east side which is pretty good also. They offer a chicken fried burger which I tried and still not sure about. It was a big burger though. Their regular ones and other food were all good.

Tommy's off Green Oaks is indeed the best burger. Kincaid's is just sad. Too bad Tommy's no longer has beer. AGGGGGHHHHH!

I agree! A big schooner with a Tommy's burger is a must. Apparently they forgot to file for their liquor license. The lady who always is on the register says they have filed to get it back, but it has probably been two months at this point.

I was wondering when someone was gonna bring up Wingfields, cause that is the end of this discussion! Otherworldy burger, absolutely no doubt hands down about it!

Health Camp is definitly one to have , you won't soon forget. But we also have Double R and Cupps has been there since the 30's or 40's and Cobies on Dutton used to have a good one but I havent been there in a while.

Sorry guy's I would have to vote for Bubba's burger shack here in Houston is one of the best I have sunk my teeth into. They even sell their burgers with Buffalo meat. Mighty tasty.
I lived in Dallas for years and I remember Keller's, Hole in the wall, Jake's, etc. Sure do miss those places.
Happy Eating.

Health camp burgers are definately good. Some times the Chris Madrid's burgers in San Antonio hit the spot for me. Course, I grew up three blocks from it.

Mears Store, Mears, Oklahoma, between Lawton and the Wichita Mountain Wildlife Refuge. Real home-grown Longhorn, burgers the size of a homemade apple pie (no kidding), apple, peach or cherry cobbler with homemade ice cream. That part of Oklahoma used to be Texas so I guess i's a fair nomination. LC
