Goin to Big Sam for a few days for fun fishing and have only been on that lake once before, about 3 years ago. Just need some info on what's been working and general areas to start. Is the lake safe to run about or is it still low to where I'll need to look out for trees? Thanks.

If your going in the next week it's going to get busier everday. Next Friday is the Sealy Tournament. Probably about a billion (well maybe 4000 or so) boats on the lake.

I would wait and go if I where you next week will be crazy no way would I bee there fun fishing. But when you do go the senko and flukes are working real good right now as well as a floating trick worm. I would go to Veach,Norris, and Buck Bay area or Harvey at the 147 bridge good pads should be there by then hit them hard with wackey worms and small Tx Rigs anything watermelon will get you bit good luck.
