took my 11 yr old grand son pond fishing last week. tied him on a crank bait, i threw a rubber worm. hooked a bass first cast. he said pa, i want a worm. i switched poles with him and gave him a quick lesson on how to work it. ten minutes later he had three bass. so much for my teaching him. took him croppie fishing yesterday same pond. we used minnows and h & h spinners. he landed soome nice slab croppies. he informed me he wants to be a proffessional fisherman when he grows up. says he wants to enter the sandy tourney at hubbard coming up. we may just give it a shot. if you see a red ranger with an old bald headed man and a young kid named skyler it will be us. ps my wife says i have ruined him
