Run into any of the "Limb Lizards" yet?

Actually was out here yesterday with my buddy,we caught 15 crappie and I got my obligatory LMB a 16", but we caught none under this tree as he beat us to it.....to bad it holds about 7 foot deep and usually, a slab, or two, or three, can be had there.
Had another spot farther up with thick overhanging branches great spot...but it had one about this fellas size stretched out sunning and we fished around him and up father in the creek but on the way out he had a girlfriend join him ...
Makes you look twice before grabbing those branches when you tie off doesn't it?!

Excuse the camera phone..had one on zoom but it was to blurry...he had to go 4ft at least.

Be careful out there and don't be adding custom boat plug holes to your boats. nuts

Oh..don't get me wrong we fished all around him I have 10ft,9ft and 8ft Crappie poles plus no fear of them here, unless there under my feet.
Spiders don't bother me that bad but Ive seen some webs that were tuff enough to stop my jig from falling in the water...and I do have a "spiderweb in my face ,whats that crawling on the back of my neck" dance I can do pretty well!

Years ago when I was stationed in Pensacola, Fl. We rented canoes in the spring and floated down a river in the area fishing. It was before the leaves were out on the trees and the sankes looked like sauages hanging from the trees some times in bunches of 3's. Towards the end of the day we just paddles our A _ _ out of there because we were out numbered. Oh yea we did catch lots of green lipped trash fish (Bass).

I grew up in Escambia County.. Plenty of wildlife and snakes galore.
