Guess it not a bad idea to pack some heat for the trip... This is got to be one of the Worst things an outdoorsman could ever have happen to them ...

Chalk one up for the good guys.

Good to hear the fisherman was ok. Hope this sends a message to the other criminals out there. "you see a truck with hunting stickers on it.... thats a truck where a gun lives"

I wonder if legeal action will be taken on the guy in the truck? Very little doubt that the ACLU worms aren't digging thru their sick IQ's to see if it's possible... Houston is the place to site in your guns on crooks.. come on and join in on the fun... It does not make me cry to see bad guys get whats due.. but when you shoot... shoot to kill, dead men tell no tales.. Unlike you, I do cry.... CRY FOR JOY!!!! hahahaha... As much as I love this nation, I still never understood why we are paying food/shelter/cable tv/work-out room for criminals. Even when they are on death roll, we are paying for at least 10yrs to keep them breathing, not accounting all the cost of legal action to save their sorry arses!!!... I agree w/ you somecrappieman, I would shoot to kill a criminal. Even from the back as he runs out if he ever entered my home to harm my family. Hope the boat didn't get scratch up for the fisherman... hehehehe

Have to agree with the fella that posted at the news feed/link. He had stated "Guess what... play stupid games, win stupid prizes! Texas justice!!!" Warning! ..... Is this thing on? .... Warning! For me personally, I did sit down many years ago to decide what would I do say If I had a guy running down the street with my weed eater? Well I think folks are worth more than a weed eater...but then I need my weed eater...Its why I bought it, worked for it,I don't want to buy one every time a fella needs to re-up his drug of choice. You have to remember that the/a thief sets his own value on his well being the very minute he takes action to steal anything. You actually are defending a lot more than just a weed eater...I don't think many of us here would seriously go "there" just for a $100 piece of lawn equipment.. but the principal of don't tread on me,my home, my family, my property,...its not even about the material stuff in itself..its deeper than than that! The principal ties into our right to live our lives our very right to exist, and more so the value we have because we do exist! We do such living based on convictions and opinions set by the rules/values we acquire by/from our family, our peers and those of our culture of whom we associate and live with....
