Thanks, Frank! I actually have a project in Lake Charles, so I'll be down that way sooner or later. True, there's darn good eating in Louisiana, it is one of our favorite states to visit. Can't wait to tug on a redfish with my 7wt...

We had a nice weekend 2 weeks ago out of Lafitte. Limited out on reds by 11:00 am. It was my maiden trip with my new Orvis Helios 8 wt, but after the wind got up over 35 mph, I gave up and switched to spinning gear. Got one nice red on a clouser early, about 28". We had 20 in the box, along with 3 trout, and caught about 12 more after that just for fun.
